　　农夫因狐狸偷吃他的家畜而对他怀恨在心，总想寻找机会报复。一天，农夫终于在自家的田地里把狐狸抓住了，并用酷刑来惩罚他。农夫在狐狸尾巴上绑上浸过油的麻絮，然后点燃麻絮。疼痛难忍的狐狸在田里四处逃窜。那时正是收获的季节，因此田地里的庄稼也遭遇了和狐狸相同的命运。一无所获的农夫只能独自痛哭了。
